Kids Gym Birthday Party Contract
Venue Access:
All parties are held in the Ames Fitness Center child care area. Party guests are prohibited from using any other areas within the facility. Families of the birthday party will have access to the reserved area 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Guests will not be allowed to enter the reserved area prior to the scheduled start time. All party attendees must leave the reserved area no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled end time. Parties are limited to 25 children. Other parents are welcome to stay to assist with supervision and enjoy the party. Ames Fitness Center will provide one or two staff members for assistance. Staff supervision is focused on safety and rule enforcement; they are not responsible for directing or organizing play. If your party exceeds the allotted time (including buffer), a $50 fee per 15 minutes may be charged.
Cleanup: Families are expected to place all trash and debris inside designated receptacles prior to vacating the reserved area. Failure to do so will result in an additional $50 cleaning charge.
Decorations:
Families may bring decorations as they see fit, with the following restrictions:
- No decorations may be “pinned” or nailed to any surface
- No flames aside from candles on birthday cakes (please bring your own lighter/candles)

No glitter or confetti
- Balloons with helium must be weighed down
Food & Drink:
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Ames Fitness Center property at any time. You may bring food or and non-alcoholic beverages to serve during the birthday party, and store them in our available refrigerators and freezers with prior communication before the party date. All food and drink must be removed from the reserved areas no later than 15 minutes after the
party. You may order food and have it delivered to Ames Fitness Center during your party time.
Guest Conduct:
All guests are expected to behave responsibly at all times. Please keep noise to a manageable level (if supervised staff determines it is interrupting our business we will let you know). Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Ames Fitness Centers will issue a single warning for unruly conduct prior to asking guests to leave the premises.
Liability/Waiver:
By agreeing to this birthday party contract, you release Ames Fitness Center from any potential liability. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ames Fitness Center and its employees for any damages, loss or injury that may occur. Should Ames Fitness Center property be lost or damaged due to the activities of any of your party’s attendees, you agree to reimburse Ames Fitness Center for replacement or repair of said property. PLEASE NOTE: Each parent will be asked to complete a Waiver of Liability and Release from Liability for their child upon arrival at the Birthday Party. Tipping Policy: Gratuities are accepted as a token of appreciation for exceptional service provided by our staff. While tipping is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated. Any tips provided by clients will be distributed among the event staff as an acknowledgment of their hard work and dedication to ensuring your celebration is memorable.
Cancellations:
Ames Fitness Center must receive notice of cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event by emailing Kids Gym Director Sydney at [email protected]. Cancellations made prior to this 24-hour period will result in a refund, minus a $100 booking fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this deadline. You may keep the full payment if the party is rescheduled for a later date. Please ensure that you review and agree to these terms before agreeing to the contract.
