The newest all inclusive fitness assessment to determine your overall health! It includes multiple physical assessments put together in one score with professional recommendations plus its FREE for all AFC MEMBERS for a limited time. It will take an hour to complete all assessments and you will be physically engaged during this time.

NOTE: Testing cannot be performed on anybody who is pregnant or has any internal medical devices.

RISK ASSESSMENT/ GOAL SETTING: Meet with a fitness professional to go over your goals and the best way to attain them. In addition we will measure your resting heart rate, blood pressure, and body composition using the InBody 570 to determine your current health risk factors.

POSTURE SCREENING: A quick analysis to assess muscle length, joint mobility and muscle control. Altered posture may be related to muscle imbalances and altered joint position, which ultimately could result in movement dysfunction and pain.

MOBILITY ASSESSMENT: We will use the Overhead Squat assessment to obtain a general indication of dynamic posture. The test identifies compensatory movements and considers muscles which could potentially be overactive or underactive with the intention of helping you address these muscle imbalances.

FLEXIBILITY ASSESSMENTS: Using three different assessment methods to measure your hip flexion/ hamstrings, shoulder mobility, and abdominal flexibility. Flexibility is overlooked by many people but is an important component to improve your performance in physical activities (i.e. gaining muscle, cardio, or every day movements).

MUSCULAR STRENGTH/ ENDURANCE: We will assess your upper body, lower body, and core strength to determine what areas need improvement to improve your overall performance. Muscular strength and endurance training is important to keep your bones dense and strong, increase metabolism, and reduce body fat.

CARDIOVASCULAR ASSESSMENT: The Ross Submaximal Treadmill assessment is a walking cardio assessment to determine your estimated VO2 max. You will wear a chest heart rate monitor to measure your heart rate during the assessment, this will determine your ability to progress through the five stages. Why measure your estimated VO2 max? Research has shown that VO2 max may actually be a strong predictor of future cardiac events, such as heart attacks.
